Freedom in Christ

6th Sunday of Ordinary Time (A)

Christ came to set us free. But in this Sunday’s gospel reading from the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus seems to be setting for us an even stricter law than that of Moses. The old law forbade murder and adultery. Jesus forbids hatred and lust. This new law is concerned not only with our outer actions, but our inner disposition and desires. How does this make us more free? That’s what we discuss in this week’s video reflection. Watch and share!
