Small Groups

Student-led small groups meet weekly at various locations on campus to explore the scriptures, discuss their faith, and engage their peers. These groups are a good introduction to our campus ministry community. If you have not been involved in a religious organization on campus, are seeking to learn more about the Bible, Christianity, and the Catholic faith, please consider coming to one of our small group discussions. And bring a friend!

Our Small Group Schedule for the Spring 2020 semester:

All Small Groups begin meeting the second week of the semester.

  • Mondays 7:00 pm
    • Small Group Bible Study on the Sunday lectionary readings. Meet in the University Center, 2nd floor, by the balcony.
  • Tuesdays 7:30 pm
    • Meet by the fireplace at Brown Cafeteria to read and discuss 1 & 2 Maccabees.
  • Thursdays 12:30-1:30 pm
    • Meet at Hillside Grind coffee house for a book study with Resisting Happiness by Matthew Kelly. Learn how we tend to sabotage our own happiness — and how to stop doing it!
  • Thursdays 6:30 pm
    • Meet at the Starbucks in Brown Dining for a weekly Bible Study on St. Paul’s 1 and 2 letters to the Corinthians. Learn how the early Church dealt with many of the same problems we face today!
