APR 16-20: EASTER BREAK

No campus ministry activities are scheduled during Easter Break. Students remaining on campus during Holy Week are encouraged to participate in the Triduum liturgies offered at St. Mary’s in Sylva.

Holy Thursday

  • 6:00 PM: Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Bilingual)
    • Altar of repose in the fellowship hall open for prayer until midnight.

Good Friday

  • 12-1:30 PM: Confessions
  • 3:00 PM: Via Crucis Living Way of the Cross (Spanish)
  • 5:00 PM: Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion with Veneration of the Holy Cross (Bilingual)

Holy Saturday

  • 9:00 AM: Office of Readings (English)
  • 8:45 PM: Easter Vigil Mass (Bilingual)
    • Note this Mass is approximately three hours long.

Easter Sunday

  • 8:30 AM: Easter Mass (English)
  • 11:30 AM: Easter Mass (English)

NOTE: There is no campus Mass on Easter Sunday.

  • 4:00 PM: Catholic Book Club: Divine Mercy in My Soul: The Diary of St. Faustina Kowlaska
  • 6:00 PM: Fellowship Dinner
  • 7:00 PM: Guest Speaker Charles Ramsden: St. Junipero Serra and the California Missions
  • 8:00 PM: Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration and Evening Prayer

APR 24: THURSDAY

APR 25: FRIDAY

  • 11:00 AM – NOON: Silent Adoration (simple exposition)
  • 12:15 PM: Liturgy of the Word with Distribution of Holy Communion
    • No Friday Mass this week while Fr. Paul attends the annual meeting of the Missionary Society of St. Paul.
  • 1:00-2:00 PM: “Cafeteria Catholic”
    • Join us for lunch together in the upstairs cafeteria at Courtyard Dining.
  • 4:30 PM: Small Group Bible Study
    • Meet downstairs at Courtyard Dining

APR 26: SATURDAY
