In this Sunday’s gospel, Jesus calls us the light of the world. Lights are meant to shine. In fact, light can’t help but shine. It’s part of what light is, just as fire gives heat because its nature is to be hot. Likewise, Christians are meant to evangelize. Evangelization is not just something Christians are called to do, but is part of what Christians are.

Some Christians may feel that they need certain “qualifications” before they can successfully evangelize. Deacon Matt addresses this concern in this week’s video reflection. Watch and share with your friends!
