Predestined for Glory
17th Sunday of Ordinary Time (A)
Jesus continues to speak to us in parables about the kingdom of God this Sunday. What we are learning is that the kingdom of God is not a place, but a way of being. It is something we can participate in here and now as we come to know more clearly the true purpose of our being, and begin to live our lives with that purpose in mind. In this week’s reflection, I dive into St. Paul’s letter to the Romans, which speaks of purpose and predestination.
