This Sunday the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, also called Corpus Christi. It is a day we focus in a special way on the Eucharist. In our video reflection this week, I speak about how God communicates to us through symbols, which are capable of conveying meaning on a much deeper level than direct words often are. I speak of the symbolism of bread and wine, and what it tells us about God’s gift of himself in the Eucharist.
