This week we read from St. Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, admonishing them to “be united in the same mind and in the same purpose” (1 Cor 1:10). We also read in the gospel of Jesus calling Peter, Andrew, James and John to follow him and become “fishers of men.” In our reflection this week, we talk about the need for Christian unity, and the special role that the successor of St. Peter has to play in uniting the Church.
