Welcome to CCM!

Whether you are a new student at Western, or just new to our campus ministry, we wish to extend a warm welcome to you. We welcome all students, Catholic and non-Catholic, who wish to join in a community of fellowship centered around Jesus Christ and the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.

Connect with us

We invite you to spend some time exploring our web site to learn more about us. Please follow us on social media to stay up to date with what’s happening in our ministry.

Please also email our campus minister, Deacon Matt, at ccm@wcucatholic.org to introduce yourself. He’ll get you added to our weekly email newsletter which includes helpful reflections on the Sunday gospel plus our schedule of events for the week.

A Week at CCM

Here’s a brief summary of what we do and ways you can be involved at CCM. NOTE: This represents our activities during a typical semester. Many of our events have been impacted due to Covid-19 protocols and restrictions. Please see our Covid-19 protocol page and pay attention to specific activity updates in the relevant sections of our website.

Our week starts on Sunday with Mass at 4:00 pm. Confessions are available an hour before Mass, and we pray the rosary a half-hour before Mass begins.

After Mass, we enjoy snacks and fellowship followed by a weekly catechetical discussion called Credo which focuses on a different topic each week.

Every Tuesday afternoon we volunteer at The Community Table during their dinner service from 4:00-6:00 pm to help provide nutritious meals to our neighbors in need.

On Wednesday evenings we gather for a home-cooked fellowship meal at 6:00 pm followed by a student-led peer ministry program at 7:00 pm. We conclude our evening with a Holy Hour from 8:00-9:00 pm including Eucharistic Adoration and Evening Prayer.

Small Group Bible Studies

We offer a number of different student-led small group Bible studies that meet in various locations on campus at different times during the week. Check out our small group schedule for the current semester.

We plan retreats both during the Fall and Spring semesters, as well as participate in diocesan retreats and campus ministry events. Click here to learn more.
