Credo
Catechetical Discussions
Every Sunday after our 4:00 PM Mass, our campus minister leads students in engaging discussions about topics related to Catholic theology, morality, liturgy or prayer, taking on any and all questions about the intersection of faith and life.
The word credo is Latin for “I believe.” Participating in our weekly Credo Q&A discussions is an excellent way to learn about the content of the Catholic faith, to grow both in knowledge and belief. No question is off-limits.
Here are just some of the topics we cover in our weekly discussions . . .
- What is the Church?
- What is faith, anyway?
- Who or what is God?
- Do Catholics believe in evolution?
- Where did the Bible come from?
- What happens after we die?
- If God is Love, why does Hell exist?
- What makes some actions morally good or bad?
- The Ten Commandments
- Life & Death Issues
- Sexual Morality
- The Sacraments
- The Liturgy
- Why confess sins to a priest?
- Vocations
- Prayer
- Mary
- Science & the Church
- Apologetics
- Open Q&A nights!
We welcome non-Catholics to join us, as well. Bring a friend whom you think might like to learn a little more about the Catholic faith!
